Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 28th August 2017. The week begins with Jupiter continuing its fine angle to Saturn. If we think that both these planets represent different energies in that Jupiter is about growth, expansion, optimism, hopefulness and positivity, and Saturn can be about contraction, obstacles and being realistic, or even sometimes see us pessimistic about situations, if we put the two together as happens this week, they can bring out the best in one another. So anything where we've done careful research, or where we are cooperating well with others, can show signs of improving, on a steady but step-by-step basis.
From Tuesday through to Sunday, Uranus also forges a brilliant angle to Mars. This is a much more go-getting influence, and especially regarding being more spontaneous, or even embracing our more freedom loving or daring sides. Even if you're someone who tends to avoid speculative ventures and can be quite cautious or conservative in general to life, this aspect brings a real sense of aliveness and spontaneity to bear.
Tuesday also sees a Quarter Moon in the sign of Sagittarius. The energy for us all therefore for the rest of the week cautions us not a promise more than we can realistically deliver, but also to be conscious of protecting our own need for space from the demands of everyday chores and domesticity. Of course some things do have to be done and we do have to make sacrifices, but it's like finding a balance.
Of course Mercury has been tracking backwards recently and that continues this week, but by Friday it inverts into the sign of Leo. It will be in this zodiac sign through till 9th September. The things that govern Leo energy, in other words creativity, self-expression, sociability, fun, and romantic situations, can all be affected therefore by the usual Mercury retrograde potential for changes of plan and misunderstandings. These misunderstandings can be ramped-up to an even higher level when from Friday through to Sunday the Sun is in opposition to Neptune.
