An Open Letter To Aquarius For August 2025
Dear Aquarius,
I hope my letter finds you in good spirits and eager to consider what the month ahead may have in store for you. As soon as I looked at the horoscope a potentially powerful Sun Pluto combination caught my eye. Pluto, the planet of transformation, change and confidential undertakings, suggests an opportunity to make significant headway in any matters of an exceptionally personal nature. This, in turn, might enable you to get a “second bite at the cherry”, so to speak, in matters orbiting around relationships, social status and material wealth. It’s all basically good stuff but the better your Natal Horoscope resonates with the current planetary alignments, the better your experience might be. Obviously the age of the child in question is another factor that will determine how this all manifests in your life. Conversely, if the “baby” concerned is a stroppy teenager having to come to terms with you forming a new relationship after a messy divorce, things will be experienced completely differently; although the planetary symbolism will remain the same. In addition: 10th House activities suggest that whatever occurs may have some impact upon your social standing in the community; your reputation; occupation and, perhaps, even the property you own or rent.
Changing astrological emphasis again: many potential developments depend upon how your own Natal Horoscope interacts with the current Saturn Neptune energies. If the relationship is positive, this suggests the impact on your daily activities might be very constructive. Indeed, this may add an additional layer of complexity into your ‘emotions landscape’ for some time to come. Most probably you have a preconceived vision of your emotional and material future all mapped out. However, it is subject to confusion, potential self-doubt and indecision. In early August you may feel that you have been able to fashion three different factors in your life into one ‘organic whole’ so to speak. I’m hoping you will experience a calming and tranquil atmosphere which potentially unites your personal finances to home, domestic, and group activities and accomplishments. Furthermore, if your budget has been stretched to breaking point something may happen to lessen matrimonial tension and enable someone special to achieve a personal goal which, until quite recently, had to be postponed or put on the back-burner, figuratively.
Moving on to the second week of August, planetary configuration suggests that, in broad terms, you are going to have the drive, energy and foresight to tackle and overcome numerous obstacles and difficulties. It’s kinda like you find the inner strength and courage required to move mountains and influence people and events. Nothing can stand in your way. OK, perhaps you don’t always fit in and run with the crowd but sometimes it’s good to be different and plough your own furrow through life. I suspect that the seeds of innovation and change you sow this week will take root - and even if it takes a month, a year or a decade - something good will come of it. Moving on, numerous astrological configurations appear to be quite meaningful for those Aquarian born, whose Natal Horoscopes resonate well with the current planetary alignments. It’s like you bring something truly magnificent to completion; join up all the dots; successfully close the circle and make all things complete. But regrettably I can not be more specific than that. But it will constitute a remarkable achievement. Life is a complex tapestry of competing moralities but you seem to be on the threshold of accomplishing something very special. Congratulations.
Changing subject once again: I don’t want to be alarmist but if your Natal Horoscope is significantly at odds with the current planetary alignments, appropriate care must be taken if you are using powerful machinery or power tools for the first time. Similarly, if you enjoy driving dangerously fast just for the sake of it, I’m inclined to think this would be a good time to show more consideration for your own safety and that of other road users and pedestrians. Alternatively, this may be a potentially auspicious time to be more proactive with regards to your own diet or that of someone to whom you feel especially close. Ask yourself who has been piling the pounds on recently and what can you say to encourage them to eat healthily and exercise more?
In the third week domestic and family developments focus on an individual's concealed accomplishments after they become visible for everyone to see, appreciate or possibly criticise. This may focus upon some secret creative project; carefully honed talent; projected career plan or impending marriage. Changing astrological tack again. This time to a tradesperson or somebody you trust to do something useful in your home or garden. Make sure they are not just blowing their own trumpet and overestimating their skills and competence simply to impress you. Because it appears to me that a small minority of my readers might have to bite their tongues and restrain their annoyance when they see the results of a project they entrust to a volunteer or “hired-hand”, so to speak.
Let me share a secret with you.
I cringe with embarrassment when I remember my first attempt to wallpaper our front room as a young, newly married husband. I thought it looked smashing. Try to imagine the wallpaper if you can: row upon row of what looked like blue ladders - but instead of standing upright, as they would appear if they were propped up against a wall - they all tilt diagonally to the right at an angle of forty-five degrees. Big blue tilted ladders on a plain cream background on all 4 walls. Wonderful. I’m feeling really proud of myself. Into the room walked my beautiful young wife and without a pause she noticed something I didn’t: with an amused smile spreading across her face she said “you’ve miss-matched the wallpaper pattern: they are supposed to be diamonds ….. Stupid!!!” She never let me wallpaper again; did it all herself after that.
But back to astrology.
Moving on to the closing week of August. The First, Third and Fifth Houses of the horoscope under consideration are activated by triple planetary energies. What could this possibly suggest? Well the First House is to do with the image you present to the world. How you are perceived by others. In short, you may become very image conscious and take more of an interest in how you look. Consequently, you may decide some kind of make-over is due.
But before you rush off to the nearest cosmetic surgeon consider this: are your proposed actions a rushed and ill considered response to an extended period of excessive criticism and cruel ridicule? I understand how hurt you must feel. But ask yourself this question: who says the criticism is justified and worthy of even being acknowledged, let alone acted upon? Try to have more faith in yourself. Trust your own powers of discretion and judgement. It is imperative you question the validity of any accusations and negative comments aimed at you. Bull sh*t is bull sh*t no matter who makes the accusations. Listen to yourself NOT morons. Love and respect yourself more. Don’t allow others to chip away at your self confidence and self-esteem. First practice the power to love and forgive by learning to love and forgive yourself. Then perfect the practice of Love & Forgiveness by giving it to those who really preserve it. (I bought into the Hippy concept of universal peace and love as a young man, and don’t seem able to kick the habit. Much to the amusement of my eldest grandson who likes to take the wee-wee out of me: BUT in the nicest possible way, you understand!)
Changing astrological direction again: This seems like a potentially pleasant week due to the accomplishments of a younger family member. I suspect this might be a good enough reason to celebrate; and it will be soft-drinks and fancy cakes all round for the younger generation and perhaps something a little stronger for the adults. Have fun.
Moving on yet again. Curiosity may stimulate your reading habits or induce you to interrogate Google on numerous occasions. Perhaps you have a little research project in mind. Are you working on compiling a travel schedule, investigating someone’s background or ancestry, I wonder. What is mesmerizing you and captivating your mind to such an extent that you spend exorbitant hours transfixed to your computer screen? There again has someone said something to perk your interest in them or encourage you to track their movements on social media? I make this observation because Pluto energies are intensified and that is prone to bring out the Sherlock Holmes in all of us. Indeed, a small minority of the Aquarians might have something to justify their stimulated curiosity but most of you have nothing to worry about. Just because somebody buys you an unexpected gift doesn’t mean they have done something to feel guilty about. Please bear in mind that it could just mean you are loved and wanted. It could be that simple; that innocent.
Speaking of love and relationships: the August New Moon may correlate to something very special coming to fruition for many members of the Aquarian community.
